Rudy Meeks is a fiddler from Orillia Ontario who has won both the Shelburne and Grand Masters fiddle contests. I'm not sure where this manuscript copy of his Canadian Four Step came from. I've had it for years.
There is a link below to a neat bit of old video from a U.S. Grand Masters Fiddle Contest the early 70s. He's not actually doing this particular tune, but he does get an interesting introduction by Roy Acuff!
The only online videos I could find of "The Canadian Four Step" were by The Fife Strathspey and Reel Society. (A Scottish Fiddle Orchestra) They also play Graham Townsend's "Murray River Jig", and "The Lemonville", by Jack Hayes in this all-Ontario set.
