This is the first section of a descriptive piano piece by Bohemian composer František Kocžwara. He wrote it in 1788 to commemorate a battle that took place in 1757. This popular march turns up in a great many musicians' tune books throughout the 19th century. Mark Twain even mentions it in "Huckleberry Finn".
Performances of the original piece are easily found online. This setting is pretty true to the original although the key has been changed from F to G.
Koczwara had an interesting life (and death) but you can look that up for yourself.
