The Boys of The One-One-Four

A song composed by Charlses J. Snider, and submitted the the Caledonia, Ontario newspaper "The Grand River Sachem", in March 1916.

It celebrates the 114th Battalion, who were part of the Canadian Expeditionary Force in the First World War, and were also known as "Brock's Rangers." The unit was recruited in Haldimand County and the Six Nations reserve, and was mobilized at Cayuga, Ontario.
