Lady Montgomery's Reel is the final tune in the medley of music from the Allen Ash Manuscript played by Anne Lederman and Ian Bell on their lp "Muddy York - Scatter The Ashes"
Lady Montgomery's Reel is an 18th century Scottish tune attributed to Colonel Hugh Montgomerie. (spelling varies) It appears in the Skye Collection (1887) in the key of Bb. and in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1882). In Ryan's it actually appears twice - once under this title and again, a few pages later, in a slightly different setting as "The Rising Sun".
