This popular tune with its "trick" chord, was composed by and first recorded by Wally Traugott in 1957. Traugott was born in Kitchener in 1934. He worked around Ontario as a musician then moved to the US where he became a renowned sound engineer. He mastered albums by The Beatles, The Band, Queen, Pink Floyd, And The Beach Boys to name a very few. Audiophiles still speak his name in hushed tones. Tune transcribed here by Anne Lederman.
