Programme for a minstrel show in Toronto. I transcribed this by hand from an original handbill in the Toronto Public Library in about 1983. It's part of the Edward Miller Collection. I later typeset it on the computer to give a rough idea of how the original looked. These performers were all quite well-known in that era. "Cool" Burgess was quite famous in Canada and the US. I suspect most, if not all of this show would have been done in blackface.

I found the original online!
