"Young Charlotte" sung by Joseph Chisholm
19th CENTURY TEENAGER REFUSES TO DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR WEATHER - SUFFERS VICTORIAN CONSEQUENCES! This is possibly the best-known of the "cautionary tales" ballads of the late 19th century. Popular across Canada and The United States. There were even tiny china dolls made called "frozen charlottes". Sung by Joseph Chisholm of St. Raphael's. Recorded in 1960 by George Proctor.

Frozen Charlotte Doll!
Much more sensibly dressed...
