Jim Fisher was a well-known square dance caller, born in Harwood, Ontario. he organized and was the first president of the Canadian Olde Tyme Callers Association (1954) He appears on this great dance poster from the Markham area. Fiddler and fellow dance caller Jack Hayes wrote a tune in his honour. It's a wonderfully quirky march. Music is below. The MIDI MP3 really doesn't do it justice.
