Played by Teilhard Frost on "minstrel-style" fretless banjo.
"Goin Ober De Mountain" or "Gwine Ober De Mountain" was a minstrel show song written by American blackface performer Dan Emmett. The first few bars appear to be based on an earlier English song "The Spinning Wheel". This was a well-known melody and it appears in banjo instruction books of the era, including "Briggs' Banjo Instructor" 1855.
