Possibly the best known of the Ontario abolitionist songs. Here it is on a broadside and at the bottom of the page from the pages of "The Voice of The Fugitive" newspaper. The paper was published in Sandwich and Windsor between 1851 and 1854 by Henry and Mary Bibb. It's set to the tune of Stephen Foster's song "Oh Susannah".
