CONFLICT AND CHANGE
Songs and other material from periods of war, rebellion, social change and other generally tense times. Since these are all songs that were created in Ontario they are often pretty one-sided in the opinions they express. For example there are no pro-Fenian songs or pro-Riel songs. Those songs certainly did exist, but not in any of the local sources I used.
